Baby Binky Stitched Card Pattern

Spring seems to induce the Babies. Maybe information technology's fair-minded because I'm delinquent in June with my own, but Baby Baby Baby is in the air. Here is the perfect Hand over-Sewed Card for whatsoever new mother having a tike. This Baby Binky Card can equal made with either blue-blooded or pink thread. Follow the pattern and instructions and you dismiss easily hand stitch this card yourself.

Supplies:

Everything is available at your local craft or framework storage.

Punching Awl
Pattern for baby binky to punch: Download this pattern, then photographic print it out: baby-binky-pattern
Cork instrument panel: For punching holes in card – found at kitchen or office store (try a cork calefactive scale)
Thread: I usually employment DMC floss, with all six strands
Needle: Cross-stitch needle #26 for 18-22 count fabric
Cardstock: white piece, accent color piece, folded card piece
Gasbag: white gasbag that measures, 4 ½ " x 5 ¾ "
Glue: Glue stick, gum dots, spray glue is recommended

Paper: cut a small piece of card gillyflower report, about 3 1/4 by 4 1/4 inches. This will be the paper you sew together. Then cut a slightly large piece of paper that will be the accent piece, about 3 3/4 by 4 3/4. You will besides want a folded card, measuring 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 when folded.

Punching: get out your "awl" and "cork board" and gnomish wallpaper and pattern. Past line up the normal over the modest paper. Bif through the holes, finished both the pattern and paper.

Stitching: Thread your acerate leaf, using all 6 strands of the colouration of your select. So tie a knot at one end and begin to stitch through to each one hole. Father't hop on any holes. You can go back if you need to. It doesn't matter if the back is messy, most multiplication it doesn't establish through in the end. Then tie a second naut mi at the back when you are done stitching.

Gluing: When the stitching is complete, center and glue the stitched piece to the color accent piece. Then center and glue the two glued pieces to the front of the folded card. The card is ready for an envelope. Here is the heavy duty spray mucilage I utilize. Try to spray the glue on newsprint outside or in the garage.
