I did mine while the dash was out. A/C shops take a condenser cleaner yous spray on and hose off. Then I'd blow it out real good too.

Pull the blower motor out, find somebody with TINY hands like an eight yr old, reach in and get all out that yous can, if you can get a small piece of 1" hose and hook it to a vacuum and reach in and get out what little bit more than you can, then wash information technology out with some A/C scroll cleaner. I would make sure Non to utilize ane that is an acid base of operations as it is nearly impossible to wash it all out. Others accept tried foaming oven cleaner, but it can exit a odor.

Mine'due south coated with the mud, too. I taped a garden hose onto my shop vac hose and put it through the opening every bit well as I could, but it didn't get much. That stuff gets caked on the fins and sticks pretty well. I didn't utilise any chemic cleaners on it for concern of making the condition worse or making no gains at all.

I did the same as above: pulled the fan and did it through the opening. Get-go dry, then cleaned out the bleed hole, and so used cleaner and kept a shop vac handy. Fabricated a huge difference. Probably due again his jump. Funny how these trucks desire to be pulled apart every few years and loved on.

Information technology comes through the firewall but below the accumulator. it should have a ninety degree rubber elbow on it to forestall water from running back downwardly the tube and inside.

When I had mine apart I idea about calculation a cabin filter. Never did, but information technology should help the mud from forming and so fast.

I tin can't find the bleed hole. Do I accept to remove the radiator resevoir? Or can I get to it from underneath the truck? Oh and is this drain always open or is information technology a valve of some sort? Cheers again k

It'south e'er open. It is right under the accumulator on the firewall. Yous should be able to see it through the bicycle well opening on the rider side I believe.
